Welcome to Anthro East Coast!

Atlantic Canada’s Largest Furry Convention

Grab your lab coat and don’t forget your goggles; you’re officially a camper of the world’s fuzziest science camp! Anthro East Coast (AEC) is a two day furry convention. Our venue is Dalhousie University’s Student Union Building. This year’s theme is Science Camp!

We host attendees of all ages, from all over the world! In 2018, we had 128 attendees, and 187 joined us in 2019! Last year, we raised a total of $157 towards our charity, the ALS Society of NB and NS!

Science Camp focuses on all aspects of science, technology, engineering & mathematics, and we’re excited to be exploring this theme with you!

Guest of Honour

Meet Nasi, your Camp Counsellor!

Originally from New Brunswick, Nasi (they/them) is an entomologist and science communicator. They are a lecturer and PhD candidate at University of Guelph, teaching biochemistry and science communication; studying ant, pollinators, and agriculture. When they are not working, Nasi is combining their love for science and furry, making educational videos and social media content dressed up as a big fuzzy animal. We are excited to invite Nasi to Anthro East Coast as our official 2020 Guest of Honour and Camp Counsellor!
