The Venue – Dalhousie University’s Student Union Building
Anthro East Coast takes place Saturday and Sunday, August 15th & 16th, 2020 at Dalhousie University’s Student Union Building. There are four floors in total, all of which are wheelchair accessible and have washrooms (including gender neutral washrooms). Anthro East Coast takes over three floors of the SUB, hosting its main activities in the McInnes Room, which is an impressive 7,000 square feet!
The Student Union Building is situated on Dalhousie University’s Campus at 6136 University Ave, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
By Car – Venue is bound between major streets: Robie St, South St, Oxford St and Coburg Rd. See details on parking below.
By Bus – All of the following routes stop at the venue: #10 Dalhousie via Spring Garden, #14 Scotia Square via Saint Mary’s & Leiblin Park, #4 Saint Mary’s & Dalhousie via Robie & Lacewood Terminal via Robie, #1 Bridge Terminal & Mumford Terminal, #7 Clockwise to Robie & Counterclockwise to Gottingen, #90 Water St via University Ave & Larry Uteck via Bedford Hwy, #8 Downtown via Spring Garden & Sackville Terminal, #81 Downtown via Spring Garden & Hemlock Ravine. Bus times and stops can be planned with Google Maps.

Parking is free on Dalhousie Campus during evenings & weekends and there are many parking spots available. Metered parking in downtown Halifax is also free on evenings & weekends. Note, these meters are monitored by Halifax Regional Municipality and not Dalhousie Campus.
